Initial Prototype Update #7

Hi all!

It’s been a little over a month since we last caught up about the project. I wanted to make a post to ensure everyone who is reading that I am still working on it. October was a very stressful and busy month for me, so I wasn’t able to get much done on my personal projects.

However, the month of October wasn’t totally dry. I was able to design and print new handle mounts and pivots to make pushing the plunger easier. Since then, I’ve been brainstorming some improvements to the way that the machine is operated. The idea is to make a seamless user experience that anyone can learn to operate in just a few minutes. Instead, the machine is still very difficult to operate to the point where even I get frustrated with it. I am hoping to use this frustration to design the best user experience possible.

I also previously mentioned some ideas that I had previously for this machine that might put it in a league all its own. For now, I’m not going to reveal those while I do some testing. I hope to be able to share the idea soon once I have a functioning prototype of it.

That’s all for now, until then, please enjoy a nice cross section of the current revision!
